Welcome!
At the request
of the WNY Conference Board of Ordained Ministry, in July of 2004, The Board of
Directors of the United Methodist Course of Study at Wesley Theological Seminary
Program approved the creation of a Buffalo Extension designed for part-time
local pastors in the New York West Area and surrounding Conferences.
We are grateful
for the privilege of serving you, and for your continued prayers and support as
we serve the mission of the WNY Conference, “to recruit, resource, refresh and
release excellent spiritual leaders to strengthen and multiply places where
Jesus is proclaimed and served in our world.”
Dr. Wendy J. Deichmann Edwards,
Director and Registrar
Rev. Gail
Lewis, Local Academic Coordinator
Rev.

General
Information about Courses
·
Minimum enrollment
required of 10 students per course. Full
refunds (including registration fee) will be granted if a course is cancelled
because of insufficient enrollment.
·
Course syllabi will be
posted on this site approximately 3 months prior to the beginning of each
course.
·
Students are expected
to acquire books foe courses on their own, since there is no bookstore on
campus. Normally books can be
ordered through online sources or at your nearest Cokesbury store.
Exceptions and additional sources should be stated in the syllabi.
Please contact the Instructor of the course or the Director if you have
questions.
·
It is expected that a
significant portion or the reading, and possibly written assignments, will be
due prior to or at the first meeting of class.
Please be sure to study the syllabus for each course as soon as it is
posted to allow sufficient time for preparation.
